Thought I had a leaking clutch slave and then noticed that there was oil coming from the clutch cover and the clutch fork little window thingy http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/angry.gif ..... it had worked its way onto the slave....
I'm dealing with a crank seal or a front G/B seal yeah?
So.... need to know if the rear crank seal on a B/T 20V is the same as a 16V?
Unfortunately I am also unable to fix this at home.... so what would be the rough price of getting this done?
Cheers,
Adrian.

It is the rear crank seal but luckily rear crank seals are manageable to change and the part price of them is cheap.

they arent that hard to change, i did change mine when the engine was out. however, engine in would be another issue...
would definately be alot easier if the car on a hoist, so yea give terryo a yell

had the same prob with my 20v,
pulled the gearbox off one weekend and changed the input shaft seal on my gearbox, only to put it all back together and find it still leaking,
So weekend after pulled it all apart again and changed rear crank seal, (all in my garage using a normal jack and axle stands)
moral of the story, change every seal in sight while you have the thing apart, saves hassles down the track.
