Hey,

Anyone here have aftermarket adjustable camgears?

I want to know how much adjustment in terms of degrees is available. I ask because I am making a set of adjustables based on the original and was not sure how to set the range for them.

What is the standard range and how much would be needed on a 4AGE?

thanks, Blake

divide 360 by number of teeth = how many degrees per tooth

Sorry, Im not talking about dodgy standard camgears, think more HKS or TODA and how much adjustment in degree's they have.

Mine will be adjustable using the plate type.

most go +- 12 degrees of Cam Angle - which is 24 degrees of Crank angle. That is a lot of base cam timing adjustment. It sounds like you are making a set - for your info the Fidanza ones are A$160 each from www.tweakit.net. Plus they are lighter than the standard gears.
