Ok, so my supercharger has started to make this loud squeal whenever I boost it past 5000 RPM. It doesn't do it anytime before that when I plant it except sometimes when I'm accelerating in 2nd (not flooring it) I'll hear a little chirp when the supercharger kicks in. I've checked the belts and made sure they are all tight. It has a larger pulley on it so I'm making 14lb of boost.
My thoughts are that it's the SC clutch that's rooted? Has anyone had this problem before? What can I do? Replace the whole SC? Or can I get a new clutch for it or what?
Any help & insight to this problem would be greatly appreciated!

My first thought would be the belt if you are saying it is 'squealing'.
Belts can slip even if they are tight if they are too worn - the ribs in the belt (ie small Vee's ( VVVVV )) are designed to only contact the pulley by the side of each 'Vee'. if the belt gets too worn then the pointy part of the Vee will touch the pulley which takes some of the force off the side of the Vee which allows the belt to slip. Since the belt is a ribbed belt with multiple small Vees, it only needs to wear 1/2 a millimeter before it will start slipping....so its very difficult to tell if its too worn.
Since the a replacement belt is a relatively small cost, id replace it as a first step - just to eliminate the belt as a potential cause.

Agree with Jim. Especially at 14psi I'd be suspecting the belt. $20 for a new one is a good investment.
Other than that the charger is not particularly serviceable. I've heard of people having trouble getting bearings for them. So personally I'd just throw a new SC on there if it came to it.

The belts shouldn't be an issue as they are brand new Gates belts. The clutch is in the pulley isn't it? Wouldn't I be able to get another pulley for it?
Where might I be able to find a good condition SC? Or can I get a new aftermarket one that will fit?

Try putting the old belt back on to check if its the new belt that is causing the squeal...

No can do, that belt is long gone. Maybe a different brand?
