Hi,

Does anyone know the part number or what the small steel metal bracket is called that actually holds the brake pad in place? One of the clips on my front drivers side is damaged and i need a replacement.

Any help appriciated or if someone has one to spare?

Roland

You mean the part at the top of the brake calliper? with the curve in it?

I mean this clip in this photo, its like a little spring clip that holds the pad in the caliper. I want to see if i can get one from toyota or buy one from someone who has a spare which is unlikely.

Raid the wreckers. I'd bet that this will be common among single piston sliding calipers in other toyotas.
