    Default More Progress

I'm Finally starting to feel like the end is nigh! The car is starting to look more like a car again, and Im starting to tick jobs off as completed! For example:

Coilovers are in, that was the last tick for suspension complete
    Wiring done, loom completed
intercooler pipework measured up and was being made today, pickup tomorrow then complete
ordered rear pads today, fit those and rear rotors then bleed system brakes completed
rego wheels arrived today in warehouse, gotta pick them up and inspect the tires, but not far off

So anyway shite is happening and the car is coming together more and more, things are starting to be put on for the last time... it makes me smile

Here are some pics, maybe they will make others smile?
    Coilovers + front brakes in!

Front interior fitted: (waiting on 1/2 cage to sort rear)

Oh yeah, I noticed the passenger seat belt won't extend, it will retract, but as soon as you try to take any belt out the belt lock engages, no matter how slowly you try and pull the belt out... Am I missing a lock out button or something?

Anyone know a way to fix it?

    Cheers

depends on the angle of the car...when I had new belts put in I noticed this....just a matter of pulling off the B pillar trim and rotating the enusure reel by like 2-3 degrees

yer theres a little ball in where the seatbelt winds up and that ball has to be at the right angle for it to work properly.

    Default Getting there

Once again, big thanks for those that commented on the seatbelt (especially Minihorse) turns out it was just because I had the back end jacked up fairly high, works fine level.

    Righto some more boxes ticked:
Brakes all on and bled, system complete and pedal nearly solid (just as I like it!)

Intake pipework Made, painted to prevent surface rust this time, and installed

    Plus lots of smaller items
Front and rear bars back on

Bracket for coilpacks modified painted and installed in position

    Strut brace back on
    Bonnet back on

    clutch also bled and working
    horns connected
    etc
    etc
    etc
    ???
    Profit (OK maybe not)

And now it sits ready to be driven! Gotta get a permit on Monday (working all weekend) then Ill be off to get the exhaust modified and fitted. Then Im just waiting on the cage and Im going to re-do the intercooler brackets. Oh yeah, gotta go and grab a cheap radio for it too I guess

    Anyway, fairly excited for Monday

    laterz
