watts link or just a brace?

in the article it says this is watts link . looks to me like a normal panhard rod and a brace above it.

It's just a brace. jay @ Buddyparts has the same one on his Olive Drab 86 coupe.

Been wondering whether a watts linkage would be worth the money in my car used for supersprints and hillclimbs?
There is a guy i know that does them when he bags mini trucks (Downtown Kustoms). Said he will do it pretty cheap as ive helped him do a fair bit of work on his rod.

oh cool thanks Marvis for point that out. yeah i never really read the comments most of the time it just either ppl bashing or saying how much they love it .

author should really edit his article. freaking young kids are gonna be out there in the garage doing exactly that and calling it a watt link.

Haha that reminds me of HPI back in the day, there were some choice bits of disinformation in there that at the time people took as gospel.
It's a long time ago now but I think that one of them was that the kouki RPS13s had 5 stud and 4 pots standard. I think, long time ago now!
