John from JSP made my custom pipes for my race car. His work is second to none. They are a work of art and made to the highest standard. If i was going to do a SR conversion (which I never would) I would get the mounts from him. He is expensive but it is worth it. As for being hart to get in contact with I thought the comunication was great.

whats your thoughts on his crossmember?
cant say really, doesnt look that bad. i know beau had to "massage" his tunnel to fit the SR20 gearbox. also some "massaging" is required when you fit the F20C..

where he cut the middle out to clear the sump
unless he put a heap of bracing on the inside where I cant see it I think it's shocking. I would think from the little I can see that he has lost a very significant amount of strength

How you can get an SR into an 86 without Cutting the firewall in some way is to fathom..
I know it can be done but how much room is left at the front...
i cut and raised the almost the whole outer section of my tunnel for clearance and there is stuff all room infront of my enigine..
i can see what you mean sam, could just be the camera angle. but without seeing the inside of the car and how much the tunnel has been enlarged its hard to judge appropriately..
