    wrong section.
you stuffed up by putting in the s13 gear to begin with.
smaller LCA's will fuck with it more.

    beyond help.

the shorter your arms go the more positive your camber will be, the struts where meant to run with those length arms for a reason. If you have adjustable strut tops you can wind them all the way in and combined with shorter arms you might be something out of it.

yer but on the other hand, on my s13 front end i can only get a maximum of about -1 degree of camber, not enough adjustment to get 0 or go positive. but i swear i can get around -10 camber if i go the other way (possible exaduration, but its alot).

the struts were meant to run with s13 arms in an s13, not a corolla.

so i think r31 arms would be ok, since i belive they are somewhere between s13 and ae86 length.

looks like another way the conversion is shit, it never seem to end. So what limits on how much camber you can dial in?

also I moved this to the tech section

the geometry is what limits camber, the position of the strut top in relation to the bolt end of the LCA and then the length of the LCA. also the king pin inclination will affect it to.

i can probably get close to zero camber but with the length of the LCA that puts the wheels so far out the guards its not funny. so i stick to about -2-2.5. (i have stock rolled guards wit 15x7+20ish)

i dont see this as a reason why it is sh*t. its no different than having excessive long LCAs in 86 gear (sigma and the like) where you are stuck wiith static camber no matter what you do with the camber tops.

sam if only you were up in qld, or i was in VIC i would like to take you for a spin in my car with the s13 gear. its pretty good. i know in theory it shouldn't be good, but it is. with the 6kg springs i have in there now and the appropriate shocks, it does work well, especially for the price.

sam have you actually driven/been for a drive in a toyota with s13 gear?

ive noticed recenetly that under hard braking in a straight line (almost to skidding) the front end of my car is a bit unstable, unsure if thats just the wheel alignment. ill definitely be interested to see how it all goes with the overpriced ae86 front end that is sitting on my work bench down stairs.
