Sprinter and I went for a little raz today through some lovely hills. My mate brought his WRX along for the ride... Rasp and burble turned out to be an interesting mix echoing through the corners!
Was a good day, after driving nothing but a work car (i30 snorebox) for a month it was great to get the weekend toy out for a drive!!!!
Picked up a new steering wheel and dash mat for the excellent sum of $60 earlier this week. Still waiting on t3 rosejointed 5 link, looking forward to getting all the new bits installed! 5 link in particular will be a welcome edition.... Can really feel the negative effect of the current slopped out bushes.
Stay tuned, raspier exhaust is also on the books in the next month or so.
just chillin......

Few updates, nothing major but at least its an excuse for more photos!
Picked up a new steering wheel, just a shitty gk tech, that will do the job until i can find the cash for a new nardi. So hard to find a decent price/conditon 360mm classic!!! Also got a second hand dash mat, doesnt fit very well and had to trim the shite out of it to get it to fit this good, once again just a stop gap solution until i get the dash professionally retrimmed.
Had this tasty rose jointed T3 5 link rock up the other day. Hoping to fit this week and get a fresh alignment so i can go for big drive next weekend!
Decided a while ago to paint the bars with a colour coded strip up top. Paint was getting some nasty stone chips from tandem runs in the hills so they needed a paint anyway. Have only done the front one so far. Takes a surprising amount of time to prep, mask and.paint a bar!!! Will get the rear one painted soon. Im pretty chuffed with how it came up, completely changed the look of the car.
Got a shifter rebuild kit on the way, hoping that once installed (combined with redline oil and a cusco gbox mount i need to buy still) it will tighten the box up as at the moment im struggling with 2nd to 3rd gear shifts when drifting. Really sucks when you cant smash 3rd, most of the local haunts are heaps tight so a misshift can ruin the whole run!
Aiming to get some more pieces of the puzzle completed before the HR Annual. So keen for November, going to be an epic few days of driving!!!
Big thanks to Dave @ AJPS and Joel @ Spirited Drive for all there help with parts over the last few weeks.
i also hear talk disco picked up a sprinter?
