Well few updates since i last posted, nothing you can see so no pics sorry!

Been working flat out so took me a while to install the rose jointed rear arms and shifter rebuild. Story goes a little something like this...

Get sick of looking at fail bus so decide to fit some parts one night after work. Decide that beer shall be required. Drive to bottleo, buy beers, return. Consume several beers, jack car up then decide drinking beers is a more valuable way to spend time.

Car stays on stands for a week.

Get sick of wife whinging about car not moving. Pick up beers on the way home from work and extract poodle from nest he had built under the car. Commence liquor fueled trailing arm removal. Get a bit excited and pull shifter out as well. Insert rag into gearboxes shifting vagina. Tire of spinning spanners, retire to couch watch drifting as this is easier than actually wheeling a rust box.

Wake up sweating saturday morning after having a dream about the ultimate 86 hills sesh. Check facebook. See reminder about 86 Annual. Run to kitchen for beer, return to shed, relocate poodle. Install arms, curse ongoingly in regards to the abandoned son of a whore who tightened arms up with air tools causing brackets to bend. Bend brackets, lube the mechanical bracketry, leverage arms into position. Rip off old shifter bush, decide to bash new one on with hammer. Refer to youtube video, grease shifter ball then use shifter and hammer to catapault delrin bushing into another dimension. Cuss out, switch from beer to scotch.

Order new delrin bush from Lawson shamefacedly.

Receive new bush then decide to try some different tactics. Place bush on concrete floor, push shifter on, achieve win within seconds. Cheer triumphantly. High 5 the baby. Drink more beers. Remove soiled rag now stiff with smithsonian like dust, install shifter, decide that shifter circlip is cursed. After 20+ mins of fuckassin about finally get circlip to seat in with the assistance of two men, four butter knives, a g clamp and long nosed pliers. Marvel at crisp shifting precision.

Drop 86 off at wheel aligners. Pay them to perform whitchified cocksmithery resulting in aggresive turn in and consistent deliciousness. On the way home home hussle in an optimistic entry. Giggle girlishly at the fact that car now drifts in the dry like it used to in the wet. Sit in the car for 10 minutes to allow semi chub to subside.......

    Drink a beer.

I hope you have enjoyed my tale of mischief!

Well, long time no update but have certainly been playing with my 86!

Not much work being done, more so lots of driving haha. Have been on about eleventy hills runs (lots of fun!) and also made it out to the HR Annual. Had a sweet time on Annual, clocked over a thousand kays in two days and made some great new mates!

Anyway, i'll skip the story this time round and instead pic dump this beeeeeeeeeeeeetch.

Hardparkin after peepin on Rodgers mental 86

Many a 86 posing up at the Riverfront "Balcony Party" Hotel

Picking up the lads from the boat

Another group shot, this one taken at Campbell Town (Halfway to the bottom of the state from the top lol)

Me and lazy chillin on the docks.... 6 speed 3tc sev is good, but doesnt quite keep up with 4age on limmy in top gear aye laze????

    Ol' mate "bobo"

Love my wheels (thanks for the arty shot Adam!)

Last but not least, quick pic from my fav hills haunt.... none can compare!

A solid weekend of driving has highlighted some areas of development, which will be addressed sooner rather than later (providing I stop investing money in beer). Namely more cooling, less bodyroll, more stop, more JDM and more front track.

Big thanks to the Lazeinator and Pat for organising HR Annual '11, Adam for pics, Tim/Harley/Cohen/Hamish/Scott/Mark/Pete/K-LOOSE-io for being fuckin ace blokes and lastly Skin for putting up with my uncitizenly driving behaviour.....
