ROYAL GARAGE NEWCASTLE
Thanks Dave! Totally agree with you on the usage thing haha. Cars seem 150% cooler in my eyes when they see the road on a regular basis.
You know it Pat! Get that sev sorted... I need more underpowered and poor handling corolla buddies so im not so outclassed during outings haha!!!
Petey you weapon... Dunno bout sexy but my car and i are definately on an even par when it comes to looseness![]()
Greetings fellow rust-afarians!
Got to dust off the old girl and drive it to work the last few days... Even though im only 10 mins away from the office it gives me something to look forward too at the end of the day!
Got all inspired and shit over the weekend so gave the 86 a good detail. Few spots of rust coming up around the fuel flap which is a pain so ill have to book the bodyworks for it soon.
Popped the rear down another 15mm to even it up with the front. Still functional, can pitch it in hard running 3rd on average road surface with no scrub, ideal!!!
Also purchased this cheap and nasty ally rad. Have seen them used with good results so thought id give one a crack. Having troubles with the stock rad running hot on uphills runs where i stay in second so am hoping this will fix the prob.
Gonna trial some federal 165/65/14 supersteels on the rear soon. Rear end is really stable so im thinking the smaller tyres will give a bit less grip without making it untidy.
Anyone used those gktech adjustable wheel spacers?
86DC needs a private streeting forum. Yesh.
Until next time (which will hopefully be a more exciting update!) keep it sleeeeeeeeasy.
loving that lat pic mate, nostalgic
