from memory adam paid a little less than paid for my powercraft 4-1...but got a complete exhaust system...headers thru to tip...not just a straight thru system either

one thing to consider for the 7a build is that due to the extra height of the block you will more than likely encounter the problem of off the shelf headers like powercraft/toda fouling on the firewall/underside...so you need to factor a way around this into the planning...

personally i went for cusco rubbers/sptech lowered mounts (same as tecarts) and converted to a ae101 sump/windage tray for more clearance "shouldnt" have any problems now

anyways...another excuse to post a pic of the powercraft headers

just out of curiousity, do you know anyone with more than 150hp with the stock manifold? like seriously? i know people SAY that it's are good for that power etc etc, but the standard manifold is only one step above a sack of shit

and as bill says also, there money better spend before good extractors
i myself would be happy with those trd copies unless i was chasing big hp with a very expencive build. or just wank factor
but really just saying the standed manifold is actually suprisingly good... i think (not from experience)

im not claiming to be and expert, but bill does seem to know his shit.

    flame away

bill is very on top of the ball as i have almost memorized his info on 4age's but yeas as they are good for 200hp a set of extractors and a decent exhaust system cam make a boatload on a stock engine and all im looking for is some different brands

these are the cheapest powercraft make should do good for my engine build and if need be i might be able to modify them to suit the height of the 7a

does anyone know if robo had to mod his zaust?
    the dyno pull to 300rwkw

BT20v is making 300rwkw like i said i would without nitrous so now its time for some spray and see if she will run a 10s or less

probs not it more then likley was just a low hung exhaust so when the head was raised it tuck up.

i sent ya a PM with the price matt.

yeah, as delazy said i paid not much more from engine to exhaust tip than he did for his powercraft ones. will know in about 3 weeks how much power they will make.
even at the moment they 11ty times better than the kaizen TRD headers i had (thats not to say the kaizen ones were bad, just no longer suited high comp motor). there is a huge amount of flow increase, so much so that via my bum dyno it feels as though the car is straining at the leash and just wants fucken rev and rev! even restricted to 4500rpm at the moment (previous rooted exhaust is major part of the reason i have got the cams in yet) all this is very noticable and should provide a huuuuuuggee power and flow increase when the cams are in (in 3 weeks).

EDIT: forgot about these, not cheap though..

also look up HOTSTAFF (cant find their page right now) as they do some good ones..

the k-m-s gear isnt all that differing in price to the good powercraft stuff...

however judging by the pics the quality is lacking in the welds comparing them to the powercraft...

coming from someone whom has seen a few high end jap exhausts in his time...the powercraft quality was up there with the ARC titanium gear...nothing else got close to it...

if you want decent gear, pay out ur arse for powercraft or go custom made locally like xero...

if shiny and bling bling is your thing...powercraft is definately the go...certainly not disappointed in mine

I have about a million header pics, i will put up a few once i get home. One of the designs i really like the look of is the danstoy headers.

They are visually awesome looking, they will clear aircon/etc, and they keep the runner lengths about as long as you can go within reason. I'll be remaking exactly the same headers for my car, but with a non-shithouse collector (i'll be using a slip-fit collector like the headers delazy posted).
