Robosan, you doing forged bottom end or gonna go to town on the stock 7AFE stuff? EDIT : Nvm, I re-read the spec sheet. Hope it lasts long enough under your abuse.
Oh Delazy, notice how he said this won't take long at all, you're being beaten by everyone you douche.

awsome man! more power whilst maintaining that factory look that the police love! keen to see how this goes man, been interested in 7age for a lil while now so yea, good luk with it all!!!!!!
stay classy
bahaha...sif...bit different between throwing together a $500 engine (which im sure will be perfectly fine with seamus overseeing the build) and building a 5k lump of engine...
also abit different between a drive as u build car like robos and my build from the ground up...

thanks man, na you cant use the 4a rods, 7a rods are longer. defs use the 4a pistons though like i am
ae86hachiiiiiii - not forged man! just basic, i have faith though![]()
Why not got for a set of aftermarket rods? Would be well worth the price, when you are only paying $550 for a set of decent rods, the fact you wont have to worry about them failing makes them worth it i think.
my whole engine is going to cost 550. theres seriously nothing wrong with the stock rods, if you do some research (not having a dig) you will see that heaps of the race guys use the stock rods, its the rod bolts that can strip out if its revving lots. Will be using a more suitable rod bolt in mine![]()
