Are 20v quads the only ones that you can fit onto a 16v? My friend is buying an 86 on the weekend with a JDM 100kw bigport 4age in it and wanted to know what quads fitted onto them. sorry for my n00bness

I did search but couldnt find the exact answers, I know you can buy adaptor plates for 20v quads onto a bigport but I want to know if there is any 16v that came stock with quads?

The whole point of quads is that you get the extra 4 valves. A quad cam 16 valve engine would be pointless. Think about it.
I think the question you want to ask is are there any other high performance heads that bolt to the 16v block. And I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

BAHAHAHA....biggest load of shit I've seen....

16v heads have just asmuch potential as the 20v.....

the 16v head is the head of choice in japan with all the big brand companies...fairly sure techart have only ever used 16v heads on the 200hp+ plus builds they do
