bahahaha.....what a way for a thread to go.....someone has his panties in a knot today.....

medwin suggested that more people should go down the 3sgte route and make it more mainstream.....my post is just suggesting that 90% of sprinter owners don't need the kind of power a 3sgte or even the driving experience to handle a 250rwkw 950kg car....they can easily enjoy the car with a n/a 4a or even turbo 4a.....

wheres the harm in that post??

my comments to medwin are tongue in cheek and he knows it

and yes, it sure is the internet....grow the fuck up and not let such a thread go to the shit

its funny, we are an ae86 community. but every decent car that gets posted up on this site gets flamed.

go through the threads and see all the negative critisism.

is it because you are all jelous? :greenbounce:

i love it. as i do all the cars with different setups.

OK guys, settle down. I've edited some posts in here that made this site look pretty bad. Its great to have an opinion, and to have a discussion to work out what it is running, but if its derogatory in any way it is not tolerated. This is a big example of what we do not want this place to be.

Consider this a verbal warning to all involved (no change in warn levels). If it continues, the thread goes the way of the dinosaurs and those involved in any keyboard slinging will hear about it.

Medwin has an extremely good point - just because it isn't 'traditional' or 'period' or 'the done thing' does not make it wrong, and it certainly does not mean that you can't appreciate it. This is a car that has been built for a specific need - and the best part is, it works well. We can hope that Beau flies the Toyota flag well this year on the drift scene.
