    4A engine mounts, alternator brackets etc all line up perfectly

    Gearbox bolts all line up perfectly, but you can't use the two lower supports, because there are no holes drilled for them on the 7A sump but you don't need them anyway..

    Also, the sump clears the crossmember by a cm or two too, and the extra height of the 7A still doesn't come close to touching the bonnet but you might not be able to use a cusco/etc strut brace if you are doing a 16V 7a, as it will foul on the plenum. A kelway brace fits though!

    The one I'm working on is for a clubman (Lotus 7 replica), so not too many clearance issues...

    How about clutch and flywheel issues??? 4A clutch with 7A flywheel?

    not looking forward to mounting my engine considering im using sptech mounts with cusco rubbers...should lower it quite abit ...hope it doesnt hit otherwise ill be dirty

    hahaha also ditched my heater lines because motor was rubbin on them and they leaked as soon as pressure came up. Im just havin issues with my water temp sensor now and haltech but should get it sorted this weekend

    7a crank is 6 bolt were 4a is 8 bolt so l just used the 7a flywheel but you could fork a lil extra cash and buy a toda one like delazy lol
