Well round 5 of the drifts is over, qualified crap, but it felt and looked like a decent lap on camera, car was handling as good as normal but semi slicks are not ideal to drift on.. Kept finding myself a bit short on the first corner from the lateral grip...
And with the new turbo and injectors the power delivery is awesome, so easy to feed the throttle on and just so fast and endless revs and acceleration ! and so far the engine is still living strong !

Went into the top 16 battles and did a near perfect run following Brodie with the white Trueno, but then it felt a bit strange driving around the rest of the track like I had broken another trailing arm mount off.. Anyway decided to keep driving it and later found out on my lead lap that my rh rear tyre had gone flat and promptly de-beaded on the first corner.. Managed to hold it till turn 2 but then I'll pulled over and crawled the rest of the lap so that was my day over for the battles..

And now I've finally been able to drive it around on a dry track and roads I'm so looking forward to doing some quick laps and getting it down the strip again.. It's just indescribable how fast it is now. The old stuffed turbo had nothing !

Hopefully some pics and vids to follow

It was the LH rear tyre Mark, looked strange watching you enter the first corner full tilt with the outside rear rim near on the deck! lol

The stiffness of the suspension and the stiff semi sidewalls saved it from digging right in no doubt!

Thing is a massive rubber to smoke conversion unit now with those extra ponies on tap.

Not a whole lot mate.. Ran powercruise at the end of January this year and about an hour into the event the oil pump bracket broke in half (welds had sfa penetration) and so that was the end of the event for me and end of the bearings in the engine... Since then I pulled the turbo off to get it rebuilt for free thanks to turbonetics awesome no fault warranty and the cars been sitting in my parents back yard rusting away ever since.. I'll fix the oil pump bracket and replace the engine bearings when I manage to save up some $ to do so..
