I agree, some people make it out like it's a complex conversion when it doesn't have to be and your so right there's some shocking installs out there

Mega neat nizlah...your car?? I rate it...
I too agree with the comment, it's not a difficult conversion these days...plenty of info and availability of rwd parts are floating around...few years back it was horrible...
a neat conversion is still elusive to most ppl undertaking this conversion tho...

With the alleged 2k difference in putting a 16v overr a 20v, why not go the 16v and give the engne a rebuild with some cams. then it would make around the same power, you have a fresh engine that gives ou peace of mind knowing where it is at? and look much more stock.
rice86, getting the car legal in SA is not the real problem. it's keeping it on the road despite SAPOL's anti lube #### services.
Having dynoed many 16v and 20v's over the years, 16v with cams etc. You have to go fairly hot cams to get near stock 20v BT power, your 16v would be down on torque, with a BT you can have your cake and eat it too. The 16v would really need ITB's to make BT power so there's another expense, by the time you add up the initial cost of a 16v, a rebuild, some cams, ITB's, you may as well just put a BT in.
Agreed^.
What will a beams conversion cost? Can someone break that down.
beams is all custom work to mount it and the gear box.
20v 4age "bolt" in
