If I run RB box with sr bellhiusing I believe they are shorter then the std sr box that way I don't have to hack the gbox tunnel

first things first, e85, dont bother you can make 300 on pump with a kenugawa t67, relatively responsive and on a dead stock motor, you want an sr to last, leve it the fuck alone internally.

you realise chasing the 220kw+ mark wont make your car any faster its live axle and light as fuck, run a 150-170 kw 4agte with mild work and itll last ages

Yeah I wouldnt bother with any more than 170-180kw from an sr, which is basic mods, and achievable on a stock ecu easily. It is pretty much the safe limit for an sr imo, after that and shit start to fall apart sooner or later. They are a tractor engine though and suck dick. Only good for asshole mechanics like myself who hearsr and see $$$$

I love 4As, but they are a waste of money, especially if you dont do it right. Dont pay the right attention to the right places and it will eat itself within a year.

In conclusion, they both suck, but I would go the sr for the sheer ease of it. 2 days and 5k and you have instannt skid car.

Go SR20. I know a few SR20's pushing 300 rwkw. Get thrashed all the time and love it. Far from stock motors but they churn it out daily and have done so for quite a while now with no problems. Properly maintained, they'll keep charging..

Stock internals will push ~300rwkw...I've seen it plenty of times...in an ae86 it's a waste of time...keep it around the 200rwkw with a lot of response and it'll be awesome fun to drive

Never said he should aim for 300 haha. Just said they they can handle and handle it well.
Also seen stock internals make that kind of power too but that motor gets ALOT of love.
