Just got back from Euro trip so keen to work on this old girl again. I am about a week of solid work away to doing the most fun part, building ae86 lego. Cleaning all the nuts and bolts in the following days, will just soak them in vinegar and then coke to see how clean they get. I also made a home made media tumbler, finely broken up glass in a milo tin with a dash of degreaser - this worked pretty well for rusted SSR wheel nuts without the vinegar and coke step. Also apparently you can soak bolts afterwards in phosphoric acid to recreate the oiled finish.. I'll see how it goes
