Yo,
1st things, I am Australian, living in Bangkok Thailand, married to a Thai girl. There is a deece 'retro car' ( as it is called over here) scene & has took me awhile to get into it & meet people, find out about meetings, events & all that stuff. There is always nice surprises with the cars that show up or spot around the city & in the countryside.
I bought this 1982 ke~70 DX Corolla that had been imported from Japan about 4/5 months ago.
A Lot of work had already been done & was one of the best ones I have seen around for sale so I hooked it up. When I went & looked at it the only the information I could get out of the dude selling it for his sister's boyfriend who owns a workshop & this was his car he built for fun on & off the track. It was like ' So, what diff is this?' (I could see it wasn't a normal ke~70 diff) & the answers were like ' Yes,Toyota Corolla,TRD'. I can speak some Thai but not enough so I just had to look at everything the best I could with help from my girl of course. When I picked it up I got no parts list or any other information just 1 key on a Ralph Lauren key ring.
This is when I got her home.

It was dirty & dusty everywhere & was in desperate need of a major service & clean. Was a good chance to scope everything as well.

The interior was is excellent condition minus missing the drivers side A pillar cover & sun visor, some small cracks in the dash & drivers seat but all original apart from the Alpine stereo, Defi tachometer, extra long rear view mirror & fancy LED interior light & I was very happy with all this. Also all the seat belts had been removed.
