16v 4Age performance engine, New or Used(within reason). Must be 16V for use in Rally and Dirt Competition. Preference to NSW but will travel interstate.

Must be able to hear running and see receipts for work carried out. Only enthusiasts from this site need reply via PM. Will also consider a rebuilt stock smallport but again would need to see receipts for work done.

Hello, I'm in Brisbane and I have a Blacktop 20v with about 130 + HP at the wheels, I have a build sheet and the engine has only done 2 to 3 meetings since refresh. Regards Brett

Why does it need to be a 16v Scott?

CAMS have allowed 20v as a substitute engine for 16v in Production Rally Car class since this time last year? Other classes are even more open.

I'm collecting parts for a 16v smallport build as a replacement for the bigport engine for my rally car, but if I had the money upfront to buy a newly built engine, I'd consider a 20v.

It's being used in an offroad racing buggy so 20v would be fine if it would fit. The 20v distributor's location will intrude on my rollcage bar work. Even with a blanking plate there is no room.

I have seen the distributor relocation kit. It will be too exposed to the elements as the timing belt would not have a cover. Maybe a crank angle sensor but haven't seen them used.

The cage must be pretty damn close, there are some very slim covers out there if you run cop setup
