Sam will definitely be able to help you out, and no worries at all. I couldn't list all the times people on this forum helped me out to save my life! More than happy to give some back, If I was still in Sydney I'd come over and help you swap it out.
Robbo, you have been awesome thank you!
I will email SQ and see what they think and try and get some better photos, that way i know ill be buying the right stuff.

I bought a new gasket for now as im a little low on cash this fortnight.
Failing that ill buy a full assembly next fortnight.
The leaking is not as bad as it was I have been topping it up every 2 days with about 2L -_-
On another note, can anyone point me in the right direction for the following issues please.
-No Tacho (bought like this I'm assuming needs to be wired into Haltech properly)
-Speedo is about 10% too fast.
-Heater stopped working a month ago, flicked it on and it died. It hasn't come on since.
OK, I can help you out again for two of those.
Tacho would need to be re-configured for the later model motor, I did one for a GZE setup once before and its not a hard job if you know how to solder.
I found a picture that specifically talks about the tacho signal for a Haltech setup, its about half way down the page
I'm not really surprised your heater has stopped working. In order to heat the interior there is a small radiator/heat exchanger in the cabin known as the heater core. If you switched the heater on whilst the water level was low the water in your heater core would have made its way into the engine and would not have been properly replaced. That means there is probably an enormous bubble in your heater core at the moment. This may have been why it seemed like the car used more water at one point, if the heater was switched on whilst it was still completely empty some of the water in the cooling system would have gone into re-filling the heater core. Once you have replaced the gasket jack up the front of the car so that the heater core is one of the lowest points in the system, then put the heater on full blast whilst you bleed the system. That should replace all of the coolant in the heater core and get it functioning properly again.
As for the speedo, that will be due to your final ratio in the diff. If that has been changed you will need to get a different speedo gear to correct the reading from the gearbox. Afraid there isn't really a quick fix for that one.
Hope that all helps.

Thanks again Robbo.
Sadly the heater stopped 2 months ago much before the over heating problems. I have a feeling some water got into some wiring somewhere as it happened after a big rain.
Ill have a look into the diagram and try and tackle it, I'm not too bad at soldering.
As for the water pump if the weather in Sydney this weekend is good it'll come out to have the gasket fitted this weekend.
Hmmm, ok, when you say the heater, are you referring the the cabin fans? Because I think they are the only electrical component in the heater system![]()

That'd be it.
My car no longer has aircon but it still has fans/demister. So that is what would not be working.
Apologies, I'm not 100% certain on how the heater/fans work.
haha, no need to apologise, I only know what I know because I have pulled all the dash bits out of a few of these junkers![]()

Alright quick update.
Drove the little shit up to my girlfriends parents house on the 21st of May.
Had it die as I pulled into the driveway, blew a tonne of smoke.
Battery had a bad indicator.
Jump started it and it ran fine, no smoke.
After some brainstorming Rob (girlfriends Dad) and myself came to a conclusion that the water pump was dripping on the alternator shorting it and therefore not charging the battery on the 70km drive.
When I stopped the revs dropped and there was not enough spark to ignite fuel so fuel passed throguh to the exhaust burnt off and blew a shit tonne of smoke. That was our thinking.
Anyways, we worked on it on the 21st and 28th and we got it up and running.
No leak and no overheating.
This was good news.
I have been driving it all week without an issue until last night.
Called NRMA to assist and the starter motor is dead.
So calling all 4age nerds, I'm finding it difficult to find a partnumber for the 20v Silvertop Starter Motor.
Can anyone assist with this please.
Alright.
Was looking over the car and saw the NRMA guy left the starter unplugged.
I plugged it back in and she roared to life.
Thought it must have been dirty connections or a dodgy relay i have behind the battery.
Took it down to the auto electrician and he replaced the wiring, relay and some connectors.
She's as good a new now, kinda.
Hoping to organise a drive with some guys from Sydney.
Let me know if you want to catch up.
