well the world lost another ae86 last night.
I was at a BBQ and got a call from a good mate who was on his way to the BBQ saying he has written of his Sprinter....
I race down the road to find he has aqua planed straight into a tree at bout 80km!..pretty heavy.
The drivers side head light was pretty much smashed into the strut tower.
One fella in the passenger seat hurt his chest area a little but otherwise it is a God given Miracle they didn't get hurt!

cars rego'd again... but now i cant get strut out cos top nut is spinning with shock =(
and i havnt got a rattle gun/impact wrench, so much fail i jus wana be lowdownnnnn
just grip it realll hard with your teeth and chase your tail like a dog.
orrr be a bit bogan spec and clamp it with a pair of vice grips or something (with some type of cushioning/grip inbetween the two metals (i find the rubber boot below the strup top works wonders, just cut a bit off) so as not to score the shock tube) and then occasionally you will be able to undo the nut.
if that fails. then your car will never be lowdown. ever.
vice grips on spring and top hat, stand on strut, undo.
easy.
