i was making the same as i was now when i was living out of home. had almost no money all the time. sucked trying to pay off my car at the time.
save cash + buy toys and then move out of home.
or sell drugs + buy hookers and move out of home.
i wouldnt work on the mx5 myself. id pay someone to put coilovers+other suspension in it. id put some of those axis 03 copies on it. id pay for an aftermarket computer to be put on and silvertop itb's. definitely have a hardtop for it also. probably 12k worth of mx5.
i could also import a r32 gtr thats had its 100,000km service and all id do to that is pay someone to put some coilovers in it + 17x8, 17x9's. so about 18k worth of gtr.
so many options but im gonna sit on the fence for awhile

Probably be almost as cheap to get an mx5 over an AE86 Riojin.
And they are very fun, but not quite as practical. Also, hard tops make them, without it you would look poser/homo.
I is thinking about giving up the 4age dream...
yer mines my 100% daily. used to get pulled over heaps (Cause of the works and low as) but now its subtle so not really, slides the best it ever has these days. in love.

its dailed suspension wise, has a good diff, seat, good motor, plenty of lock, koyo rad, oil cooler. but i wanna do more
lol probably cheaper with the price most people want for 86s these days
