The coupe LOOKS mint, but the word from J-Land is it's fucked. Major head on and RH front hit, rust underneath, and it's had a cut and shut on the rear quarter.

So I wont touch it> im waiting for a final price from japan for the hatch,a nd Ill give the go-ahead to buy it.


No defects for me. Always have a contingency plan.... having an 86 is like going to war... hope for the best, prepare for the worst.


Now that Im going for the hatch... stay the hell away from it! haha. If you do punt it into something... get footage for me please.


Not made of money... all the bits Im selling off of the coupe are paying for the new 86. I also dont need two> i cant finish one... what makes you think ill finish the other haha.



The plan for the hatch is quite simple. My Willwoods/watanabes/4.77's/GReddy coilovers/all my other sus parts in, my pair of velo's in, swap out the factory EFI for a set of FCR's and maybe some cams, and drop it to the floor. Done. Dont want to touch it apart from that.

As I said though, it's all dependent on the final price. If it's bullshit expensive, ill continue the hunt.

the auction sheet didnt list the engine type, only that it wasnt fitted with the original engine, id take a guess and say smallport or 20v...must be something worthwhile tho, judging by the mods list...the fact its running equal length upper arms in particular...
