The price for the hatch, well, its a bit more than the coupe was. To the tune of almost $12K landed. Had a full resto, put on a jig, all new parts etc. Better than a factory one apparently. So totally worth the dollars.
Although, I simply cant justify the price on it, and probably cant afford it, and it's also too nice and mint for me to punt into something. The GF was bananas when I told her it was $12K haha.

Basically the amount of work my car needs has become a bit to much with the hours I work and the type of work i do... Im simply either too busy or too tired. That coupe was only around the $8000 mark landed, was just going to swap some of my good gear into it and drive it. Thats basically all i want to do ATM.
That being said, I still have the option of sending my current coupe to a panel shop and then it can become their problem to fix.

Realistically, it needs to go to a panel shop to have all the panel work sorted, then to an auto electrician to get everything working again. Then it'll be a lot better than it was.
Need to rebuild the diff with my 4.77 gearset in it, have a new exhaust made, and then re-fit everything to the car, and then tune and align. If this is the way i head though... it wont be NA any more. CAMS/Quads/headers have already been sold, so Ill be putting a turbo on.
The Wife is pushing me to keep and finish the coupe, not totally about the money for the hatch, but A) She doesnt want me to buy it and then spend more money on it cause Ive spent enough already. B)The only way ill get "my" car, is to build it myself, and C) That hatch is simply too nice and well built to hammer the crap out of it. Really needs to be owned by someone who will really look after it. Thing is a work of art.
