its got side intrusion why worry about putting doors on it
I will be driving it around in the yard shortly, with no doors. On the road is another matter.

EFI fuel tank arrived today from Just JDM Imports. Very good price and timing. As you know it has the metal bucket and tube spot welded to the base, otherwise the same as a 4A-C tank.
I got the fuel pump from ebay in Canada a few years ago. Took about 8 months to come, but arrived eventually. It screws into my new fuel lines.
Still havn't made the front water housing, but with the standard radiator hose in place it makes it very easy to see what I have to make.
ECU is bolted in. Most wiring is done.
I once read a shocking report that stated 95% of all 20 valves pictured on the internet were incomplete and would not actually run even if you turned the key.
How it looks now with race seat.
The fuse box in the engine bay has a spot for the EFI fuse and relay. It was 4A-C spec but I have all this sused out and working.
You will find that the ae82 4age ones will be setup with the same board. I figured out which pin is the output pin on the EFI Main relay on my 86, if you want I'll go and have a look at what it was.

looking good, I like your fastener philosphy Jonny, I really wish I could buy M8 bolts with a 12mm head at the bolt place instead of the usual 13mm, same goes for the M10/15mm.

agreed.
there are a few ways to do things, and its the little details that seperates a good car, from a great car
If you buy the Champion bolts in the plastic containers hanging up at Repco, and get the bolts with the flange head, the M8 ones do have a 12mm head. You can buy bolts from the Toyota dealership also, but use part numbers off a more modern car because the old ones have superceeded numbers. I havn't actualy done that, I have enough bolts laying around. I may write a little article describing Toyota part numbers for nuts and bolts, and how to tell the size and length. That would be fun wouldn't it.
yeah but arnt they still a shitty grade 5 bolt?
