Bigport 4age? If so, Check that you have 12v on both pins of the injector plug at ignition. If no 12v at both pins:

    - Bluetop bigport: If you dont, you probably need to give power to the yellow injector wire found running to the ecu (BF - check club4ag for ae86 4age wiring diagrams for the location of this pin).

-Redtop bigport: Check you have power going to your injector resistor pack (small little heatsink looking box with a round plug and 3pins).

Another conceivable problem might be that you are not getting the Igf signal back to the ECU (broken wire, rooted ignitor, etc...). If the Igf signal is missing for three? sparks in a row then the ECU will stop injecting.

A little left field, but a possible cause.

When i had that problem on a gze wiring install i did (was running safc) it would start then die straight way and continue to do that. I assume he is not getting that at all but can be a possible cause

If the engine has been sitting for a long time the injectors may take a little to fire up (they get very sticky). I suggest unplugging the tps and hold WOT while cranking and also spraying start ya barstard down the intake.

I assume it is getting some sort of fuel supply to the rail?

Engine loom is earthed at the inlet manifold nicely and all engine earths are in place?

There aint too much for it otherwise unless you are having trouble with the fuel pump operation. The engine runs and you have power to the injectors, so it just seems to me you dont have fuel or fuel pressure...
