you have an air leak somewhere post throttle body
engine: 4age bluetop tvis cut shut manifold
4age idles high (around 2000-2500 rpm when warm, sometimes bounces like a stripper on a pole from 1000 to 1500rpm) so i thought i'd do a diagnostics check...turns out that my check connector is missing. is there a plug which the check connector plugs into? and if so, are there any check connectors from other cars which are compatible with the 4age loom?
also, anyone have a clue why my 4age idles so f*** high? ive checked the map sensor vacuum, bottomed out the idle control screw, checked the butterfly valve is fully closed, checked all engine grounding points. i doubt its a dizzy timing issue, so all i can think of is:
- fuel pressure regulator?
- TPS?
- f*** up throttle body? (auxillary air valve was removed and a plate bolted in to block all the holes up)
- karma?
any help is appreciated guys, cheers khoa

get a can of contact cleaner and spray it around the manifold. if the idles dips then you know you have a leak.
