    Default Fuel Line Help!

    Car - ae71

    motor - 4age

    use - el drifto

problem - trying to mate fuel pump to line

    occurs/started when - i wanted a 4age

personal situation - trying to fix this, but stressing out!!11!

    Hey guys,

long story short, 4age is in my car, just doing fuel system.
    this is my setup:
from pickup, hose to vl fuel pump, to surge tank. then from surge to another vl pump then problems occur.

the inlet of the pump is quite small which the line fits on snug. while the outlet is quite large and because of the size the hose is too big for the steel line under the car that goes up to the engine.
how do all of you guys get around this. i cant seen to find a reducer anywhere. do you guys go to a bigger steel line? need to fix this asap as it is my daily and have no car atm.

No one sells these "reducers" and i dont have the tools to make a steel one.

    HELP!! lol.
how did any of you guys get around it?

I can machine you a brass/steel adapter for you, just measure the inside size of what the pump needs and let me know, we know the tank end is 6mm so that's easy enough.

I personally had some help and had two brass fittings brazed together.

Walk into enzed, ask for 1/2" to 1/4", hosetail to hosetail, pay the man, walk out as a happy satisfied customer?
I do it all the time.

i think you can only get 1/2" to 5/16" (12 to 8mm). You can make up a 1/2" to 1/4" one though

    Yeah, OP's got pump backwards.

Nikkojoe, Didn't we buy a 10mm to 6mm adaptor for my blue car or was it 10mm to 8mm?

No, no, not that one. Remember the blue car's tank had that whatever pump for turbo with a 10mm outlet and a 10mm pipe welded into the tank top? Then we went and bought a reducer but was that to 6mm or 8mm?
