AE and KE Rear coilover questions

yeah im hearing ya but... id really like to the feature of using removable inserts. in case i need to replace anything or more importantly i can use different shocks if i want to.

wouldnt a rose joint be better anyway? not for street but for the track.

in the way of performance for a damper not a huge difference, just get a serviceable/ take apart damper, getting an insert will be no different, instead of binning a roll closede shocfk you throw away the insert, buy something that can be pulled down. i.e bilstein damper

check out the t3 setup... it can definitly be improved upon, but its a great starting point.

yeah but what im thinking isnt really overly complicated really.

the t3 kit is essentually what im making but with a tube housing instead of just a slip over sleeve.

the problem is there normally isn't enough room for a conventional 65mm spring between the body and the wheel.

ive pretty much desided to go for some euro build coilovers that are actually alot cheaper than i thought.
