    Default AE86 Front Wheel Bearings

    Hey guys, just about to get some brakes for my 86 coilovers and the bearings I got with the hubs I got told were shot. So I've decided to buy brand new wheel bearings and assemble everything together and bang em into my car, was just wondering if there is any differences in any of the 86 year models in terms of the bearings?

    I found these on ebay and was thinking of buying them;

    Cheers,
    Deeken.

    I just bought a wheel bearing kit from auto1 about a month or two ago. Cost around $30 per side (includes inner and outer bearings, plus a new hub seal ring).

    i just hit up repco. the box said they were from china but the bearings were stamped japan! win! so check out repco and have a look at the bearings before you buy them.

    when you guys pulled the rotors off the hub to get to the bearings did you have any trouble? i have undone the 4 bolts holding the rotor to the hub and i still cant get it off. have hit it with a massive hammer but i was wondering whether you need to heat it up to get it off?

    they are tight as hell sometimes. you will probably need to get a large flat head in between the two, too prize them apart.

    you dont need to pull the discs off the hub to get the bearings out tho......
