4ac accessories

Hey, just pulled out a 4ac which is suspected to have a BHG.

Main bits left over from long motor are still for sale.

Few things to list:

<strike>-Near new spark plugs and leads $20 set</strike>
-Old 4ac leads $5 set (super thick 9.5mm cables, bright yellow and red - they work afaik)
<strike>-4ac Dizzy (ae82) $10</strike>
<strike>-Bosch Coil (to suit ae82 dizzy) $10</strike>
-Near new voltage regulator $30 (1 old but working, $10)
-Clutch and pressure plate, suit 4ac and 4age $30
<strike>-4ac Carby (working, standard) $5</strike>
-2x 4ac flywheels $5 each (also got one set of bolts)
-2x 4ac Starters $10 each
<strike>-4ac Water pump backing plate with thermostat, $10</strike>
-Top 4ac water outlet $5
-4ac AC compressor with belt, bracket and tensioner $20
-4ac alternator, working condition (although looks crap), $5
<strike>-4A rwd sandwich plate (between block and box) $5</strike>
<strike>-4A metal engine brackets/mounts and gearbox brackets $30</strike>

Also have the head aswell (seems ok, just needs a clean). Throw me offers.

Already told ade mc a few days ago and I pulled the christmas tree thingo off for him today. Also sent him a PM before this, cheers anyway

Also, forgot to mention there is 4ac ac compressor and bracket on this engine. Apparently it was working until it needed regas, pulley seems fine with no bearing noise. $40 with bracket, belt and tensioner ready to bolt on.

Hi,

Just wondering whether the motor was running before you pulled it out. What symptoms did you get to lead you to suspect it had a blown head gasket? I am trying to figure out what's going on with mine but I couldn't see any oil in the coolant. Motor (4ac) just runs rough and dies when I rev it . Any ideas?
Maybe I could get some parts of your 4ac?

It ran, but ran on 3 then eventually 2. Water in oil (creaming of cam cover). It wasn't in bottom end, then after a few days the oil in sump turned grey.

Extending it for another week as things didn't go to plan.

4a engine mounts are also available now. These include the brackets which bolt up to the T-50.

Also got brand new spark plugs and leads with this engine.

Still many parts left, long motor is still free to whoever removes it.
