I think if you try and use the factory fwd gze ac/ps/alt bracket and gze ac compressor it will fit, but don't quote me on that.
has anyone with a gze hooked up air con in ae86??? if so how did u do it, i have a standard 4ac aircon setup, everything will fit but the aircon compressor!
i think i might need to make a costom bracket to relocate the alternator is it possible ?
cheers. sam

when i bought my car it had all the A/C stuff on it.
it had the FWD bracket and alternator and compressor.
the ac wasnt working but all the lines were there. it looked like the lines were factory 86 ones going along the chassis rail., but where they bolt onto the compressor, it looked as if they were the fwd ones???
ne ways, someone bought mine and fitted it to their car without a problem, i think....
my ae86 is missing pipes in the engine bay so can't get mine to work as i don't know whats missing
use a rwd (jdm ) air con setup ... it will bolt all on i belive ... i will be doing this in the next week or 2 .. i let you guys know .
you can pick them up for cheap as... i got my whole setup for $50...

i would take it the jdm is pretty similar to the adm setup, the bracket on the gze is in the same position as the 4ac one...
so where are your alternators ???
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (redsprinter @ Mar 18 2008, 05:52 AM) </div>You can't do that with a gze. Alternator is in that spot, thats why you need a gze compressor mount as it includes alternator bracket

I've been after this for a while, if anyone has this setup and working could you please post pics of the bracket and alternator/compressor setup.
I have a 4agze AND a 4age compressor, lines, condensor etc all sitting under the house and would really like to get it all going
Cheers
My attempt on this would be:
- Keep all AE86/4AC bits of aircon (condensor, lines, in cabin box, etc, etc)
- Use the 4AGZE compressor on the 4AGZE cast mount (on passenger side, in the middle, below PS pump and above alternator)
- See if any of the lines you have suit to connect the 4AGZE compressor to the AE86 lines. If not, get some custom made.
