    Hey,

I was just wondering if a front wheel drive 4AGE throttle body would fit on a JDM RWD inlet manifold?

Does anyone know what the differences are if not?

    Cheers

yes it will fit, they are interchangeable.....however, you will need to change the TPS plug to suit....

don't have to change the tps, only the little plate which controls the tps. FWD and RWD point in different directions

The little plate which has prongs to turn the tps when throttle changes are both different on adm and jdm. I meant to say adm and jdm not fwd and rwd as a jdm fwd 4age has the same tps as a rwd 4age. Basically unbolt to plate, and switch over the plates so you can run the tps it is suited to.

That said, I am assuming both throttle bodys with the tps's are bigports? If fwd one is a smallport then plugs will be different.

Blue top bigports (3rib) both have square plug, red top bigports (7ribs) might have a round plug though but i'm sure they are square too.

pretty sure all plugs of the same generation are the same.

also the real difference is that the fwd tb has the air bypass for the crank case breather on the wrong side, the air gallery is there but you need to drill it out and block the other.

if you have 2 side by side youll be able to work it out. it will work though. (fwd tb on rwd plenum)
