<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (slide86 @ May 11 2008, 08:48 PM) </div>No and to be quite frank, the loom scares me haha.

But i've got people who have offered to help out... I'll give it my best shot!

1 question how do you go about wiring it all in, best to do most of it while the engine is out, then clean up the rest later?? Or is that not possible, due to not knowing where to run the loom etc..

Cheers guys, i'll give the RA65 Throttle cable a shot (get em from the wreckers i presume?) and see how I go as I also have a JDM engine.

if you got a KE70, you don't need to change the cable technically (ive found there are 2 types of throttle cable brackets on rwd manifolds, both will affect the fit of the cable so only buy it if you need to). KE70 works, AE71/adm 86 doesn't (and most people just get a ke70).

Wire with engine in the car and loom on the engine and plugged up.

Ive just got a decent ae71 radiator cooling a 4age, KE70 will be fine as long as the radiators in good nick. Outlet position is better on an ae71 radiator for 4age.

nOOb question I know... but do you have to use the AE71 pedal box? or will KE70 one do? I'm assuming the 4K and T-50 gearboxes are different, say cable and hydro clutch or something?

Havent really looked into it properly.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Touge Boy @ May 12 2008, 03:29 PM) </div>ae71 is hydro clutch, the hole for the cable sits about 100mm away from where the master cylinder sits
you need to drill 3 holes in the firewall for the master cylinder.

Yep, use the pedalbox as a template for drilling the holes.

an AE71 radiator + fan shroud will fit in perfectly.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?
