it was starting to lean out so they rev limited it?

why wouldn't they just add more fuel?

Back then, the fuel pump was shit. It couldn't deliver any more fuel....

well sounds to me like you need to make sure your fuel system has at least 100% head room on supply, and get it retuned. and if anything else is restricting the ability to get a good tune, fixd that before proceeding.

trying to tune an engine with restrictions on fuel supply is a sure fire way to get crap results!

and comparying kw numbers is useless, dynos are only good for getting relative results on the day.

yeah but by the sounds of it he has sorted out the fuel situation and gone for a retune and got less power. I think thats his point

I have to say the best way to work out whether its a better tune or not is to drive the shit out of it, you can always tell if the power has changed, though you can't put an exact number on it.

Tuner said there must be a restriction somewhere, exhuaust or inlet....
Both my inlet and exhaust should be adequate for more than 141kw tho... I know all dynos will give a differant measure, the actual number doesn't bother me, but 20kw less, even after improveing the fuel system, which was the problem before...

I wasn't worried about making more Killerwasps, but I was really after being able to rev the motor higher. I use the car for Hillclimb racing, and if I could get that bit more revs, it would save me 2 gearchanges on part of the track, and would really improve my times...

Your turbo is running out of puff at 13psi and your trying to make more power which it can't, sort ya turbo out and then retune to suit the boost to redline.

T25G is your problem, without a doubt.

Step up to a T28BB or a GT28 of some variety, and you'll be happy.
