hey guys finahed off the wireing in my conversion but the motor wont start, it just keeps cranking, i followed all the wireing diagrams and all and i dont think i missed anything, so does anyone have any ideas?

-Make sure engine is earthed well
-Make sure igniter is earthed (bolted down to car body)
-Check you have power to coil/igniter
-Check you have spark
-Check you have power to injectors
-Check you have power to ecu
-Check fuel pump operation
If you have removed dizzy, make sure you have installed it correctly (ie timing marks all lined up).
If the motor is old and sitting for a while, it may need some start ya bastard to get it going before the injectors free up and operate normally.

agreed.......that is all you need to get a 4age running
hey guys i have checked all te things use mentioned buy it still wnt start! i did remove the diztributor, but i have again set the timeing properly, piston 1 and 4 up piston two and 3 down and the rotar button is on piston one. is there something ive dine wrong? is there any one that would like to come and try figure it out because im happy to pay cash for someone to get it started!
Have you checked that the ecu loom is earthed on the intake manifold?

I had the same problem with my bigport, turns out there was no spark, all because of one wire.
Is this a rwd loom & ecu? or a modified loom ?
So first thing IMO would be to play with your ignition leads and check that you have spark.
If you dont have spark, you should check these things.
- power going to your coil pack
- ignition leads
- spark plugs
-battery
also crack open your ecu box and see if anything looks burnt out or defective.
Might not be any of these but it sounds like you have the exact same problem as I did.![]()
