Conversion 4ac / AGE

Can't seem to find anything in FAQ , google search.

My question

Is there anything at all on the 4AC engine (rwd) , that I will need to keep and use on a 4Age fwd to RWD engine conversion.
Have mounts etc - is the water pipeing useable etc etc

i dont think 4ac water pipes will work on a 4age..only the half back of the pump or something similar along the lines...da da da

you know you can use FWD water setup just fine, just needs a bit of thinking to make it look neat and tidy!

only thing with the FWD water setup is the "no clutch fan" on the pulley so you need to run a thermo fan which is better anyways

use what you got to keep shit simple i say, though JDM RWD water line are more easy to come by these days so look for that to buy off someone on this forum

the standard RWD water pump pulley on the other hand don't come by so often for sale on its own..

4ac std radiator will be found wanting on a hot day , so get a twin core JDM one or better and at the moment cheaper a 52 mm alloy radiator off the net .

Thanks dg64, will grab water pump etc . - I was going to run a thermo fan anyway - before I dump the 4AC

remember to get the flex plate (goes between the engine and gearbox) and maybe the clutch if its any good?

Looks Like I had better get the 4AC engine as well !!

Will have to make up a list of all this ... "bits needed from donar engines for 16v fwd > rwd 4Age conversions." and post it up.
