unscrew the button thats in it then a spring will come out and screw the new one in, its easy
I recently bought a drift button for my ke70 and was told it was an easy install. After pulling my handbrake surround off i realized to get to the button i would need to remove the plastic sleeve that sits over the lever and this has given me a headache.
I have tried to bash/pry it off with knives and screwdrivers but i am at a loss. i know it can be done but just don't know how.
Would anyone be able to give me some pointers?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks (:
I had to give my handbrake handle a jiggle because the rod with thread sags down a bit.

LOL
Wow...
1. Remove Old Handbrake Button - Spring
2. Install Drift Button - May require a little bit of jiggling to get it in the hole.
3. Screw Into Hole and Enjoy.

Don't remove the spring entirely, take only 10mm off the thing. then you can wind the button in and out when you want it to work as auto-ratcheting or not. This way cops can't defect you for it
New hydro handbrake setup is best...
