    Default Is there a tailshaft/combo to suit W5* --> T seires diff?

    Hey guys,
    I am sure the answers are on here somewhere, but couldn't find the info I want from my searches....

    For a while, I have been running a W58, custom tailshaft, and R31 rear end.....
    Anyway, I have taken out the R31 rear end as I am not happy with it at the moment. I have a T-series with TRD 2 way, which I want to put back in for some car testing.
    So, I guess I am then without a tailshaft??????
    Have people found a solution to this? Is there a tailshaft from a celica or something that will bolt up, without me getting a custom tailshaft made up. Here in Canberra, the places charge $800+ to make custom shafts, so I want to avoid that.....

    Cheeps peeps,

    JoJo

    Quite sure there is some way to do it like above with a celica half shaft, or maybe the whole one. Someone will know.

    If you get stuck, look on ebay for custom tailshafts.

    GJ drivelines in VIC will do anything you need, Im getting one done for $550.
    I know a few people who have used them for some decent builds and are very happy. Also a lead time of a week is pretty good too...

    Are there any other front halves that work?? Just for reference and to broaden the search.
    I'm doing the same gearbox/diff combo in my KE70 and this would make life alot better.

    So far that's RA40, RA65 fronts to 86 rears. Any more out there?

    AJPS, There any modifications to be made to the RA65 front half??
    Cheers.
