Indicator problem

I have a ae71 and during the day my left and right indicators work fine, when I Have my lights on my left indicator stays lit, and doesn't making the clicking noise like it should. Has any body got an idea what it could be or has experienced the same thing?

I would say the indicator/headlight stalk switch cluster. Common problem on KE70/AE71. I know of 3 cases of this (2 were mine) Just replace the unit.
It's a cheap fix. bout $20 and half an hours work.

It will most likely be a break in the wires close to the base of the indicator stalk, ideally you should replace the wires so the problem doesn't re-occur with another second hand unit ready to unleash the same gremlin. Problem I had was the headlights dipping when engaging the indicators, but most likely the same wires that run through the stalk.
