Tuning sounds good Paul..... Sounds like a bit of a weapon Do you know what torque it was making? Sounds like you might have more torque than I do with a simular power figure. What RPM were you limited to?

Do you have a dyno sheet with the power curve?

I think you could safely run 20psi if you want to see what it can do . People should have faith in what psi these engines can take with a good tune. Having the E85 is a big advantage, but you will need bigger injectors I reckon.... The van 4AGTE is currently 190kw @ 18psi on pump 98 (rebuilt GZE to factory specs, Ball bearing turbo) ....

But, I know that's not exactly practical for your needs

JoJo, I didn't bother with a print out but I will hit Ed up next time that I am down there. I couldn't drive the thing with 30kw less at the wheels so putting more in there is not the best idea. I still have a enough injector to get me to around 220rwkw which I should be able to come close to at 20psi if everything is happy. The next step will be to see how well I can get it running off boost and stuff now, getting things like the cold start spot on ect.

Yeah it is pretty much good to go. The car might be capable but the driver is not. I am going to do a driver training package in late August to get some skills up and then get it out on the hill climb. Between now and then I am a little busy with work and family so it will give me time to sort out all the little niggles. The ECU will do two maps that I can toggle between so I might even put some 98 in the tank and see how it goes on a second map. To be honest it still has more power in it as I think that the ignition timing is still the same (or very close) as it was before I changed it over to E-flex.

Thanks Bob it just feels good to get it finished to be honest. There is little things to do but the big stuff if finished it is time to just sit back and enjoy the thing. I have easily put more km on the motor in the last month than I have since I built it 4 years ago. The thing is returning around 16l/100 on E85 at the moment which on a $$/100km scale is around the same as 12l/100 on 98 but I am loosing range, only getting maybe 300km to a tank if I was willing to run it down. I am going to play around with the light load/cruise map a bit and see how much fuel I can pull and still have it happy to try and get the economy up a bit.

If I can get around in my p/van and AE86 track car without cop attention, I'd think Paul should be right......

Not that it matters.... I know Pauls standards, and this thing is 100% legal....
