Yep has to be wired from scratch, electronic speedo sender was used too on that dash.

is where the build thread is located, a 2zzgte into an ae82 sedan.

It's a 3mm steel plate I had laser cut, welded posts to the rear to mount it to the back white plastic housing of an original cluster, made housings and LED holders for the warning/turn lights etc. All speedhut gauges from the US

I am looking at doing something very similar with speedhut gauges at the moment. For those of you that haven't had a look at them they will basically make whatever gauge face you want... as in whatever you want...

I am planning on making my gauges look as similar as possible to my Pivot tacho

How do you find the actual quality and accuracy of the gauges Jason?

it's 3mm as the plate has recesses milled 2mm into it to accept the warning light acrylics for the turn signals/warning lights. Was somewhere between $15 and 30 to get cut, I can't remember as I had it done with a batch of 2J and 2zz flanges.

Back shot of the plate with additional housings and mounting posts:

And a shit photo trying to show the lighting:

The gauges are great quality IMO, would be better if they used smaller gauge wiring though as when you have so many together the loom gets a bit bulky.
