You probably think that these guys are arseholes for their comments... TBH this has been asked allot of times, and the only use for this car would be putting down a quick quarter mile.

If you test drive it you will realise a couple of things quickly.

    1. It handles like shit
    2. It doesn't steer good
    3. it is reasonably fast

So that aside, if you want to drive it around corners it isn't the car for you. You are much better off buying one with a lighter engine, like an SR20 or 4age, or 3sgte etc.

And did i mention it will handle like shit and not corner?

What is your budget, guys how about we find him a car instead of just saying that RB into a ke70 is a bad idea. We all know it is a bad idea, but lets help him find a better option.

You'll be a better driver buy learning to drive a slower car faster then starting off with something like this.

I know a guy who did one with a 3/4 drift setup, wasnt that good.

But seriously, a dude in adeliade did one and drove it at ONE track day then it got defected and parted out and apparently handled like shit, cast iron 6 cylinder, who woulda thunk it huh?

So why isn't an 200+kg LS1 or LS2 V8 powered Ke70 or Sprinter not ragged on for the weight of the engine>?
An RB25 with all ancillaries is ~ half the weight and RB20 even less.

    Didn't Fast Eddie do an RB30 KE70?
PM him, he will tell you if any good or not compared to multiple other set ups he has had in Corolla.
