Hey guys, Just bought a Sprinter last week, got it fairly cheap as it needs a bit of work. Got it from Melbourne, and drove it back to Hobart on the Spirit of Tasmania. Bought the car off the 2nd owner, 1st being his mother lol, it still has the Sprinter user manual in the glove box. Has pretty bad rust in the body, bonnet, hatch/hatch pillars.

pretty tidy inside and out, what i did with the rust in my tailgate is just got hold of second hand one with no rust at all and replaced it, worked out cheaper for me, nice ride anyways

Was a bit iffy with rust like that. Would really need to dig deeper

what do you mean "got to dig deeper"? Yeah but for $1400 cant complain, interior is imac, drives well, only thing pisses me off is that because of the rust in the hatch, and above the windscreen it leeks and condensation develops on the windows lol, and sometimes drips hahahaa.

should really take all window strips off check for rust under while ur at it, and bumpers, plus spare wheel well in hatch
nice car mate.
check where ae86 said and try and find a replacement hatch. also have you done rust repairs before? if not you willing to give it a go?
