Last week I installed a new quick rack, 2.5 turns lock to lock. Seems to have a bit more lock than the standard ADM rack as well as now my wheels toe in somewhat:

Hey it was only like $260 through a mini group buy. Check on the 'other' forum in the sale section

Planning on having the engine and box in by the end of the weekend! Not really looking forward to wiring it all up though....

Looks like a few other guys are trying to get numbers for another buy. So anyone interested should check it out. Good bit of gear anyways and heaps cheaper than the quaife items.

extra lock is interesting tho..I know these ones have extra teeth compared to the quaife, but I'd have thought the different tooth profile would still leave it slightly short travel wise.. Look forward to seeing how you find it when the car is drive able.. I'm still someway from having mine fitted

I am very interested in knowing how a quick rack would go with shortened knuckles, my steering is already quite quick, would be cool just to try it oneday

A mate of mine just pulled his quick rack out, and he only had PS arms, it was way too heavy, hardly had control of the car while drifting, gone back to an 86 rack with jdi knuckles.

I had a manualised s13 rack in my old bluebird and it was bullshit heavy just like the quick rack in ke/ae's, made it very unpredictable.

JDI knuckles sound the goods but my car is engineered so they are not really an option.

I've got a pair of non-ps arms along with a lock spacer around somewhere. Will try some different combos if I'm not happy with it.
