    Default 4agte fuel questions

Ok so first of all I have been searching for ages and have had no luck regarding to a 4agte.

    My questions is..

What will I need to fuel my gze converted to turbo. It's all going into a ke70 and I'm not looking for massive horse powers from the motor. My understandings is that I need a low pressure in tank vl pump to a surge tank than a high pressure pump to the motor with filters in between. All on standards lines and e7 tank.

What rate of high pressure pump should I look for will a bosch 044 be enough to fuel the motor? I've heard it's over kill for a 4age but not sure for a turbo setup

Do I really need a surge tank..can I just make sure I keep the tank somewhat full..

Sure it has been covered but just wanted a straight answer.

    Cheers for any advice!

Definately dont need a surge tank, but if you dont have the intank pump low enough in the tank then you will experience surge. Also if its too low it probably wont last too long if its sucking up all the crap from the bottom of the tank.

You might aswell get one though, why spend all this cash on your engine only to have your fuel setup let it down.

I would say you are pretty much on the money with your setup description, but you dont really need a 044 pump, yes overkill for your purposes. I have a bosch 910 (rated 380hp) in my 4AGTE, and never had any fuel delivery issues drifting or speed days at the track and has lasted for years.
Yeah, get a surge tank. Your question is then where you are mounting this. Undercar? My tip/advice is not to mount it near the wheels if thats not already obvious....

    Thanks for the help..

I think I want to mount the surge nice and neatly under the car. Don't really like the look of the fuel system taking all that space in the boot in a mostly street car.

Is the Bosch 910 and smaller pump than the 044? ( flow rate wise)

Are u just running on standard lines, what car?

    Thanks agaaing

910 has less flow than 044, but is still fine for our engines....
Yeah, I still use standard lines....... No problems.......

Sweet that's all I needed. I'm plan to run a vl intank lift pump to under car surge to a Bosch 910 to the motor. Are the vl lift lumps slightly more flowing to keep the surge full. Are there ones with different pump rates?
